The Louvre...


It was hard to take in all of the artwork both displayed and in the architecture . Everywhere we turned there was something more amazing to look at.



Here is a ceiling that covers the royal treasures.

The Venus de Milo 100 B.C. The goddess of love.

The Mona Lisa 1503-6 is considered the most famous painting in the world. The people that surrounded the picture were not only looking at it, but taking their picture in front of it. I took a picture of them as well, since we all know what she looks like. It was interesting to observe the French as they would stand in front of it with no expression on their face for a photo.

My favorite piece was the Marriage at Cana 1562-63 depicts Christ's first miracle.
