We left the Eiffel Tower and began to walk back to the metro station to catch our next train back to Domont (don't pronounce the n or the t). We found a ticket booth and asked for two tickets to Domont. The metro worker looked at us like we were crazy and asked us to show her the map. Well of course there was no Domont on the map because it was out of the city, and obviously not very well known. After giving up on getting our direct tickets there we decided to just try to figure it out. We got onto a line and quickly realized we were going to wrong way. We found another line that took us back to the main hub. We bought more tickets and found another line to take us another direction to try to connect us with the train that we wanted to be on.

We proceeded to do this for 3+ hours. Its not like we had cell phones to call anyone or a single soul that knew were Domont was! We finally found a kind man who knew where we were going but told us we had to wait 45 more minutes for the next train for Domont. It was dark and all the drug users started to come out so we gave up and went to a Tobacc shop and bought a calling card and a big bar of chocolate and called Hunter to come pick us up at 8:30 at night. It felt so good to go home and eat our dinner. We melted stinky cheese and poured it over potatoes with French meat, onions, pickles, corn etc. it was so good. I went to bed early that night. What an amazing day filled adventure and fun.

Thanks Kelly for joining me in Paris!
